Weddings galore

Our dearest friends, Nora and Alan, got married on Saturday, 11 August. Finally! After many moons, we all sighed relief :) How happy we were!

In the evening over supper, this cool newly wedded couple joined the 3 sistas for teh tarik, honey glazed chicken and yummilicious satay at Lau Pa Sat. They were tired, but our company was so fabulous, they had to meet us haha. As usual, over food, we laughed over everything under the sun. I am very blessed to have them 4 as friends :)

This year must be the year of weddings for my friends. Dogmatic in January to her Finnish man in lovely Vienna, one of the world's most livable of livable cities. Due to hectic travel schedules, her wedding in Singapore probably won't happen. Don't matter -- she's as happy as bear with honey.

Then Gen the Ben officialised her wedding on 1 August in Hong Kong. The "real wedding" for her will be in Koh Samui in December where I will be doing a reading :D

Celestian Monk in November - finally too! He's met his match in a lovely lovely lady.

And recently, my friend told me of a long lost but still very ardent admirer who proposed to her through her mother. He had waited 15 years for her! And finally decided, it was time and he just went straight to the mother, since the daughter wasn't very forthcoming hehe Well, the tactic paid, coz after 15 years, this friend's finally open to giving this marathon man a chance :) She looks forward to his calls and text messages daily. So, I may have another wedding to attend soon :)

Lamina the Red whom I met while studying in Sydney called from Malaysia on Saturday morning, as I was getting ready for the Alan-Nora nuptials. There is a man in her life! It's wonderful to hear that, coz she was so married to her job and her family -- that I never thought she'd ever have anyone in the horizon. Wonderful surprise. Such a happy one too!

Life's so full of happy possibilities :D
