The Joy of Shopping

These past few weeks have been quite interesting and when life gets interesting, I go shopping! I already shop a lot as it is :P A true-blue Singaporean :D -- and a retailer's dream coz I am such an impulse shopper.

A recent survey of Singapore shoppers showed that the majority of Singaporeans shopped like once a month. Me? I shop - whenever I can - day, night, in sun or in rain, anytime, anywhere. Well, thank God I'm at work most of the time :)

But when life gets interesting, I go berserk. Three weekends ago, in the space of two hours, I blew $800 EEEKS - 2 Liz Clairborne blouses (lime green and sky blue work shirts), 2 pairs of Marks & Spencers pants, 4 or 5 M&S blouses, new lingerie etc etc. That was a Staurday - so the weekend was not over yet.

Practically a new wardrobe overnight! Yipppeee! (until the credit card bill arrives :p)

Found out the next Monday after that spree that Melisaurus had a shopping spree too -- busted a couple of hundred bucks on a "hair appliance" hehe and a whole host of other products. Gal, if you were in Singers, we'd do serious damage to our pockets! ;) But what a party we'd have gorging our faces on consumables hehe

No more shoppin'. Not even walkin' near the shops.
