Morocco the Sublime
You can guess from the title that my heart belongs to Morocco over Iran. Moorish architecture is more subtle, more homely, not so loud and grandiose. Plus it's the home of Casablanca, Tangiers, Marrakesh and FES!
Fes is one of my most favourite places on earth -- next to Jerusalem and Maldives :D
If there is one place in Morocco you must visit, let it be Fes! Truly the cultural capital of Maroc.
Some memorable images of Maroc - many more to come :)
Sherry Shiraz, these are for you!

Pantaloon men guarding one of the king's 15 (or something in that region) palaces. National palace of Rabat.

Watermen in traditional costume in a Casablanca square. Tip them if you want to take photos!

My National Geographic shot. This little gal lives in a house that is a few centuries old -- hence we came a-visiting :)

Olives galore! Maroc is a quintessential Meditarranean country. They love lots of lemon too!

Flower shop at Casablanca market. The market is across from the hotel where Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman shot the legendary "Casablanca."

Cats in the sun. Basking on a shop floor of Casablanca market. (Another potential Nat Geo picture :)
